From packaging to product, everything I have ordered and received from Lummi has been fantastic. The seafood is delicious and the fact that it is sustainably caught makes it better and I love that there is no awful styrofoam in the packaging. The seafood arrives frozen solid with lots of dry ice. It took me one order to make me a repeat customer. I highly recommend!!

My husband Kele ordered me the trial box and sadly it didn't arrive on time (due to UPS not them) and was thawed. The owner reached out and sent us another box for free which arrived on time, and was super awesome! The salmon chowder is beyond amazing, I grew up in the PNW and since moving have desperately missed our salmon. They are a great company, and have outstanding customer service! I will order from them again, and am so happy to have a good source for a taste of PNW salmon again!!! 10/10, cannot recommend them highly enough!! *I corrected my review to reflect that they are not Native owned, but they do work closely with the local Tribes! I am not going to sugar coat this review. I was extremely disappointed after everything I read about the Salmon Lummi Island Wild offeres. I am American Indian from the Northwest and a picky Chinook/King Salmon eater. I bought the Baker King because it was described as fatty and the best they had. I got over $300.00 on my first order. I was very disappointed because my fish had no fat marbling at all and it was flat on flavor. I won't buy King Salmon from this sorce again unless they send me some "fatty" King Salmon. These fish were from small Salmon, not big fat King Salmon. I feel they have deceptive marketing because I have had huge fatty Chinook Salmon and it has a very distinct flavor because of the fat content. I am so very sorry to post this, but I have to be truthful. I would return it if I could. AN UPDATE I revieved a call from Ian, the current President of Lummi Island Wild,within an hour of my review. I was very impressed that Ian wanted to be sure I was a satisfied customer. He offered to send me a special package to try. I explained what I was looking for and that I want to buy from an American Indian business and I will give it another try. As for customer service, Ian's call to me is worth so such that Lummi Island Wild deserves an A+! Thank you so much Ian. I look forward to the package you so kindly offered to send. You have excellent customer service! 2ND UPDATE 8-21-24 I got the package of Salmon Ian sent today. I was amazed to see the choices and sizes of Salmon. Here are some photos. Lummi Island Wild is my go to place for salmon and halibut. The fish arrives frozen (and I live in the East). The one time my order arrived late because of weather delays with UPS, the fish was not frozen. I reached out to Lummi Island customer service and they sent me a replacement order (which did arrive frozen as usual). Lummi Island really appreciates their customers and what they did to compensate me for the issue with my last order shows how much they do.

The black cod is addictive! This was my first time cooking it. I pan seared it and made a honey, garlic, ginger and soy sauce to baste. Its delicate flake and tender texture were magic in my mouth! I highly recommend purchasing from Lummi Island Wild!!

I highly recommend their monthly subscription. We have had so much fun learning new ways to cook salmon, halibut, cod, tuna… we look forward to our new box every month to see what we’re getting. None of it has disappointed us. The fish is very high-quality.

So glad we have an awesome local spot for fresh fish and wild caught. We got the salmon and were super pleased with the whole process. Grateful for this place and excited to be a Bellinghamster and eat great salmon.
