I had one of the WORST online shopping experiences with Hawaii Pharm. I attempted to place an order and their website completely malfunctioned — failed transactions, repeated error messages, and a cart that kept resetting. I received emails confirming that the payments failed, and when I contacted their support, I was told to clear my cache and try again. I cleared all the cache on my phone, but it still didn’t work. Thinking maybe it was an issue with my phone, I tried placing the order on my husband’s phone and on the computer—but we kept running into the same problem. At that point, it was clear the issue was with their website, not on our end. At no point did I receive a confirmation or shipping notification for my original order. Just to be sure, I kept checking my credit card, but there were no charges. Thinking it hadn’t gone through, I successfully placed a second order a few days later. Only then did I find out that the first order had somehow been processed and shipped—completely without my knowledge or any notification from the company. I live in Canada, so I ship to a U.S. pickup location to reduce international shipping costs. If the office hadn’t notified me that a parcel had arrived under my name, I wouldn’t have even known! When I found this out, I reached out right away to explain the situation, assuming they would understand, offer guidance, or take responsibility for the obvious technical failure and lack of communication on their part. Instead, my email was completely ignored. I had to follow up through their website’s customer service, and that’s when I was met with dismissive replies hiding behind their ‘terms and conditions,’ with no acknowledgment of the actual issue. I was told there was no way they would waive the 15% restocking fee even though this was clearly their fault. I tried so hard to get them to understand—after multiple back-and-forth emails explaining everything clearly. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall. No matter how clearly I laid out the situation, they just kept deflecting responsibility and repeating the same scripted responses. And their final ‘solution’? A 15% off coupon for future purchases… as if I’d ever trust them with my money again. To make this even more disappointing, I found this company through an eczema support group for parents looking for natural options to help their children. I’ll absolutely be sharing this experience with those communities so other moms don’t have to go through this nonsense. Poor communication. Poor accountability. And a total disregard for customer experience. I will not be ordering from Hawaii Pharm again, and I strongly recommend others think twice before doing so.

I also appreciate that they offer alcohol-free options since that’s hard to find. My order arrived fast, and when I reached out with a question, customer service was super nice and quick to respond. I previously ordered $485.70 worth of their herbal tinctures, but didn’t want alcohol added to the products. When I received my order, since it was purchased due to dealing with health concerns and having to avoid sweet ingredients; I noticed their tincture(s) line that doesn’t add alcohol; uses glycerin that’s extremely sweet. Exceptionally sweeter than sugar (sugar alcohol to be exact). I voiced my concerns about my discovery and it was agreed that I could return the products for a refund. Well upon returning said products which cost me $72 return shipping, they deducted from my refund, a $40 restocking fee and also deducted an additional $159.95. So I was only refunded $291.81 - $72 = $219.81; totally taking advantage of a senior citizen; they could resell every last item I returned back to them (since it was sweeter than I could ever imagine - which wasn’t posted on their website). At first I thought this was an upstanding company, but after this robbery they gracefully acted upon me - I DON’T ANY MORE! And all the First Responders out there, beware because there’s no respect/ consideration for persons living on fixed incomes.

I bought Neem from this company but the ingredient is listed only as a raw ingredient And the Azadirachta indigo is listed as a registered name as the ingredient and as a copywrite name but not as the actual ingredient. The ingredient is not identified. I will report this to the attorney General office but do not buy but from this company their products falsely label.
